Before your first visit.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Both are possible, but appointments are strongly preferred. Walk-ins are seen in the order they arrive after scheduled appointments, which can mean a wait of 1 to 2 hours during busy periods. Booking ahead lets us allocate proper consultation time to your case.

How long does a first consultation take?

A first consultation typically takes 30 to 45 minutes. This includes taking your history, examination, discussion of findings, and initial treatment planning. Please arrive 10 minutes early for hospital registration on your first visit.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, UPI (all apps including Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), net banking, and bank transfer. We do not currently have a card swipe machine on-site, so please plan payment accordingly. Cashless treatment is available through our partner insurance providers.

Is insurance accepted? Which insurance companies?

Yes, we are ROHINI registered and provide cashless treatment through several partner insurance providers. Direct hospital empanelment is currently under process. For insurance-specific enquiries, please call our team at 8208927917 with your policy details, and we will confirm coverage before your visit.

Can a family member accompany me during consultation?

Absolutely, and we encourage it, especially for elderly patients, those travelling long distances, or anyone anxious about the visit. For sensitive examinations, particularly for female patients seen by Dr. Swati, a female companion is welcome throughout. Our examination rooms are private and dignified.

Can I book a phone consultation instead?

For initial queries and follow-up questions, yes. Call 8208927917 and our team will schedule a brief phone consultation. However, a proper physical examination is essential for any anorectal or surgical concern. Phone consultations cannot substitute for in-person evaluation when a diagnosis or treatment plan needs to be made.

I am travelling from outside Amravati. Can procedures be done the same day as consultation?

Often yes, if the case is straightforward. Please call ahead when booking and mention you are travelling from outside. We will:

Reserve consultation time first thing in your session; arrange any pre-procedure investigations at the earliest slot; schedule the procedure the same day if clinically appropriate; and coordinate discharge and follow-up planning to save you a return trip.
